What Makes Our Coffee Different?

We use the highest quality coffee - specialty grade arabica coffee beans. They are grown without the use of chemical petiscides of fertilizers which contributes to their gentleness on the digestive system.
We roast each type of coffee to bring out it's best flavors. That may mean a medium roast, or possibly dark and we only roast it long enough to bring out those great flavors. Additionally whole bean fresh roasted coffee makes a big difference in taste. This is why we put the date roasted on our packaging - not just an expiration date.
We are a USDA Organic Certified Coffee Roaster. The coffee farms we work with are organic certified as well as our roasting facility. Additionally we 3rd party test for mold & heavy metals which are not currently tested under the USDA Organic guidelines.
Yes! Our caffeinated coffees will give you a gentle boost of energy.
While we cannot say that EVERY person will tolerate our coffee well, we have thousands of customers that once had issues with coffee, and since switching to Java Planet do not. Yes our coffee beans are lower in acid, but we feel that organic, mold & heavy metal free also plays a vital role in how ones body responds to our coffee.
Yes! Organic growing practices alone are more sustainable, and many of the farms we work with have or are working towards the Smithsonian Bird Friendly Certification which is the gold standard in sustainable coffee farming. We also ensure farmers are paid fairly whether they are members of a fair trade organization or not.
If you are not satisfied with your coffee, first time customers may return up to 2 1lb bags for a refund.
We roast and ship every business day, so your order is usually shipped within 24 hours of ordering. USPS and UPS take 2-7 business days to deliver in the continuous United States for delivery
