First we select the top 2% of coffee grown -
USDA organic specialty grade arabica coffee.
Then we craft roasted the coffee in small batches with the date roasted on every bag, so you know how fresh it is, not just when it expires.
"They have something for everybody.
Organic is essential in my household. If you are looking for a bold but smooth cup of coffee with no bitter aftertaste and a nice jolt of caffeine that doesn't leave you crashing or feeling icky afterwards you need to check these guys out."

"Thanks for making a reliably awesome health food!
I've been recommending Java Planet Organic Coffee to patients for over 6 years knowing that they'll be exposed to less chemical pesticides and the quality is excellent, especially for the price. Most importantly it tastes amazing!"

1. Is this coffee ground or whole bean?
The sampler is only available whole bean. Grinding just before you brew does make a difference in the full bodied flavor of coffee.
On our full sized coffees we do have the option to select whole bean, coarse grind and drip grind for those who chose it.
If you find yourself with whole beans and no grinder, you may try a blender. Although you may not receive the most consistent results, you will still experience the flavor of fresh ground beans.
2. How much coffee should I use to brew?
We recommend 1 to 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for every 6 ounces of water depending on how fine you are grinding the coffee and which brew method you are using. If you find your coffee is bitter or sour you can adjust the grind to be larger and/or decrease the amount of grounds to water ratio.
3. Is your coffee gluten, nut, allergen free?
Yes. We roast only coffee in our USDA organic certified facility, and no other food products are allowed in that area and thus the coffee is allergen free.
In our descriptions we speak of chocolate notes, and fruit tones - these are present in the coffee and not as result of something added to the coffee
We do have "flavored" coffees in which we use organic flavoring that is made without allergens in a USDA certified facility and is allergen free.
