There’s no official certification or standard for low-acid coffee — but we take care to source high-quality beans that are naturally lower in compounds that may cause digestive discomfort.
What’s not in your cup matters too: our coffee is free from pesticides, mycotoxins (mold), and heavy metals — all of which can impact digestive health. The result is clean, smooth coffee you can feel good drinking.
Because most coffee isn’t — and we believe you deserve better. Mold (mycotoxins) and heavy metals can be present in coffee, especially lower-quality beans or those poorly handled during storage. These contaminants aren’t covered by organic certification, so we go the extra step to test with third-party labs. It’s part of our commitment to clean, safe coffee.
Not ours. Some low-acid coffees get a bad reputation for being flat or flavorless. That’s not the case here. We use top 2% specialty-grade Arabica beans and roast in small batches to bring out rich, balanced flavor — smooth, full-bodied, and never bitter or burnt. If you order directly from us, every bag has the roast date printed on it — so you know exactly when it was roasted. Most retail coffees were roasted months or even a year ago, with only an expiration date listed. We roast in small batches throughout the week to ship at peak freshness, because fresh coffee just tastes better.
